Help

Welcome to KeepKept.net. If our website features are not working, this page is designed to help you get them working.

1. Games aren't working!

If the games are not working, try enabling JavaScript. Please keep in mind, having JavaScript disabled is a clear violation of our Website's Terms of Use.

2. I can't sign up, rate, or comment!

Our webhost Neocities currently does not support backend programming, meaning the comment, rating, and sign up systems currently cannot work. However, I can manually add your comment and or rating if you DM me on Discord at @aquacubii.

3. Games / Videos are lagging!

All of the games on KeepKept only function due to Ruffle. Ruffle is requiered to run any Flash content on KeepKept.net due to the discontinuation of Adobe Flash Player in 2020. Because of this, many modern browsers lag when plaiyng games. Most games default to the highest graphical setting, so you can try setting to a lower setting to see if games run better.

4. What is with the * symbol on the view counts?

Due to Neocities not supporting backend programming, we have no way to count video views, so every view count is only an estimate, and may not be accurate.

5. Where can I contact you?

You can contact us at keepkeptnet@gmail.com or by DMing me on Discord at @aquacubii.

6. How can I help?

If you wish to volunteer to help, you can join my Discord server where I also sometimes post updates on KeepKept. Our discord server can be found at https://discord.gg/aN3XrmB5MZ

7. Why is the content so small/pixelated?

There are a few reason why the content in question may be smaller or appear pixelated. 1. The original website was originally designed in 2008, many monitors were still 4:3 with a resolution of around 800x600-1024x1200, so many 4K monitors display the website in a way that appears zoomed out, but that's only because there's nothing to fill in those spaces. Try using Ctrl + until the website takes up most of the screen. You can also try using full screen on Videos and Games. 2. This is just how we used to play games back in the day. Despite what Nostalgia will make you believe, it doesn't change the fact that most media was still using Standard Definition, even up until 2015. 3. Some of the Photos on KeepKept are displayed in a lower resolution than they actually are. You can see if that particular photo is in a higher resolution by right clicking on the photo, and selecting "Open Image In a New Tab" or something simmilar.
